Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): Crowns & Bridges

How can we help you?

Patient education is the cornerstone of our practice because we find that informed patients are more proactive with their oral health care. We want to know what matters to you and asking questions helps us understand your priorities and how you would like us to help.

We have shared some of the questions we hear most frequently, but it’s likely you have some of your own. Please call us at (360) 748-6624 or use our convenient online contact form to arrange an appointment.

Crowns & Bridges

Dental insurance is an important benefit, and we want you to get the most out of your coverage. As part of every treatment plan, we will review your insurance and estimate what your out-of-pocket expense will be.

Every policy is different, but most have “100-80-50” coverage, which means preventive and diagnostic care like exams, cleanings, and x-rays are covered at 100 percent; fillings, root canals, and other routine services are covered at 80 percent and at 50 percent for crowns, bridges, and major procedures.

Dental insurance rarely covers the cost of cosmetic dental treatment. But many restorative procedures like fillings and dental crowns improve your oral health and your appearance.

You can be confident that we will inform you about your benefits before we begin treatment at our Chehalis dental practice. Before we begin any work, we will do our best to provide you with an accurate estimate of your out-of-pocket costs.

It can be a challenge to understand how dental benefits apply, so if you ever have questions, please call our Chehalis dental office at (360) 748-6624.
